Packing out a fanny pack
It’s good to be
prepared when you ride.. this is what I carry with me on every single ride off
my property.
Moose fanny pack
(not the big one... the middle one)
small compass
clipped to the outside
Inside of
cover:
A few bucks for
gas
Small baggie with
ibuprofen (600's), acetaminophen, and endocet for really big biffs
tow strap
several business
cards (makes it easy to establish credibility with local land owners and of
course, body identification)
First section:
Wallet (insurance
card!)
StartTac cel phone
(link to Life Flight!)
Leatherman - may
get yanked... tools are soft/mediocre
Spare plug in plug
carrier
Quicksteel
Master link
Small first aid
kit in a baggie: (band aids, butterflies, tape, gauze pads, iodine wipes &
antibiotic)
spare lens for my
goggles which I've been meaning to remove from the pack
Tool Section:
Honda wrench -
front & rear axles, & spokes, spark plug
T-handle wrench -
8, 10, 12mm sockets
inflation gauge
mini maglight (AAA
type)
shop rag
vice grips - small
pointy kind
8, 10, 12 mm combo
wrenches
Moose 6 in one
screw driver
cutting dykes
4, 5 & 6 mm
allen wrenches
misc zip ties
safety wire
scabs
If I were going on
a longer ride (e.g. NH dual sport run), I'd also carry a fender bag with a
21" heavy duty tube and tire irons and
inflator
