Note:
When Rt. 119 is reached, the hiker must turn right on Rt. 119 and hike back to where a dirt road
goes diagonally off to the left of Rt. 119. The trail blazes can be picked up a short distance down this road.

If you would like to do some exploring of interesting things just off the MM Trail, this section has a nice loop hike starting on Rt.119 in
NH and going south on Monument Rd. Instead of taking the right about 2 miles in, do not take the right and continue on Monument Rd. If you search along the road you will find the Monument
to a past President that the road is named after. This can also be reached via Greenwood road. North bound take a right on this road instead of crossing it and the next left will put you on Monument road.
If you are hiking north bound on the trail you can also eliminate the road walk on Monument Road and at the next junction after Greenwood Rd. take a left. You will go down hill and cross the end of
a senic bog. After crossing the bog take a right and head north along an old woods road. This will bring you back to Rt.119. We are considering using this road for a future relocation.

Lots more tree-cutting at the start of this section. Watch carefully for blazes.
