Our Family Farms of Western Massachusetts

Warren Facey

Bree-Z-Knoll Farm - Leyden, Massachusetts

We are Warren and Sandie Facey of Bree-Z-Knoll Farm. We're first generation farmers. In 1968 we got our first two cows, Blondie and Cookie, both Holsteins. Soon we purchased our Brown Swiss cows as part of a 4-H project for our sons, Scott and Randy, and our daughter, Lisa, who were then young children.
As our children grew, so did our herd. We now milk 50 cows twice a day with help from our now grown children and Lisa's husband, Mike. Our grandchildren, Robby and Erin love to feed the calves.

During the growing season, we use a rotational grazing program, and our cows feed on nutritious pasture grasses. Our border collie, Tuck, helps us round up any strays. Buying local milk helps local farmers like us keep farming, which helps preserve the land, open space, and the environment. Thank you.

Our Family Farms milk is fresher because it's local.
Our Family Farms milk is rBST-free because we care about the health of our families and friends.
