"Old Stockbridge Hotel"

This is from a photograph presented by Lindy Searing in the memory of his father Harry Searing,
the reel lawn mower mechanic of Stockbridge MA.

This unidentified mower is interesting because of its solid cast iron "wiper."
Later mowers used reels made up of spiders on a central shaft.

The "Old Stockbridge Hotel" was burned to the ground in 1896. The "New Stockbridge Hotel" is the Red Lion Inn.
