The Monta Mower was manufactured by the Montague Manufacturing Company of Traverse City MI. The sales office was located in Grand Rapids MI. A wooden handle was used until the start of World War II. After the War a wire handle was adopted and in the 1950's rubber grips were added. The company was gone by 1962.
