Trading of commodities which can be either day traded or held for a longer term. There are over 700 kinds of commodities currently traded worldwide. Either the cash commodity or a futures contract of the commodity can be traded. Futures traders trade the futures contracts of commodities, and accomplish this by either day trading the markets, especially the S&P 500 index futures, or by position trading the markets. Some popular markets are the individual stock futures, the agricultural futures, financial futures, the DOW futures, the Emini contract, soybeans and others. The psychology of the trader is the determining factor in which time frame is chosen, either daytrading, short term trading, long term trading (position trading). Liquidity also plays a big part, whether one is trading futures or is stock trading.This page contains a list of sites that are relevant to online trading.
