April 2004 New fee goes into effect
As expected, CIS has announced a naturalization application fee increase
to go into effect April 30th, 2004:
N-400 application fee went from $260 to $320
Fingerprinting fee (now called a "biometric fee") went from
$50 to $70
As of April 30th, the new total cost of applying for citizenship: $390
